What is B.Ed Course?
B.Ed full form is Bachelor of Education, it is a 2 year undergraduate program that is done after graduation. It prepares students for a career in education. Students with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) can advance in a lucrative career as a teacher, school counsellor, or school administrator.

B.Ed eligibility criteria is summarised below -
- Undergraduation - Candidates should have done graduation form any recognised university in any stream be it Arts , science or commerce .
- Educational Qualification - Some reputed b ed colleges can also demand minimum percentage of marks in graduation. The minimum percentage is 50% for general candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates
- Age Limit - For B.Ed. admissions in a majority of colleges, there is no age bar. However, admission process of some B.Ed. colleges require candidates to be minimum 19 years in age.

B.Ed Syllabus 1st Year
The B.Ed First Year Syllabus is broken into two semesters. B.Ed 1st Year Subjects include Contemporary India and Education, Language throughout the Curriculum, Childhood and Growing Up, School Exposure etc. The first semester of the BEd Course comprises of classes such as Pedagogy of School Subject-1 - Part I, Understanding ICT and Its Application, and so on. The total number of marks for the BEd First Year Syllabus is 325. Childhood and Growing Up, as well as Contemporary India and Education, each get 100 points. They are the only subjects with 100 points.

Study B.Ed abroad
Candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 60% marks in order to study BEd in overseas colleges. Candidates must also achieve a 65% in their 12th grade examination.Some of the colleges requires proof of work experiences from the candidates at the time of admission
- The cost of studying B.Ed abroad is high, with the average tuition charge of INR 16,00,000 per year. In extreme situations, the annual fees can reach INR 50,00,000.Candidates can also avail several scholarship programs from different agencies as well as from the universities.
- To pursue the course, candidates must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL and IELTS.
