Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM), also known as CEEKerala is an entrance examination conducted for admission to programs in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, and Medical in KEAM Participating Colleges across Kerala state. The exam is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE).

  • KEAM 2023 Exam is scheduled to be conducted tentatively in second week of July 2023.

  • Eligibility Criteria of KEAM specify various factors such as Nationality, Domicile Certificate, Qualifying Marks, Candidate's Age, Marks Relaxation, etc.

  • Candidates willing to take the exam must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2023. There should be no relaxation for minimum and there is no upper age limit set for the examination.

The admission to the participating colleges will be done based on candidates' performance in KEAM Entrance Exam. Students who appeared in KEAM 2022 and could not qualify the exam back then can also apply for KEAM being conducted in 2023.

KEAM Registration

KEAM Application consists of filling up KEAM Application form made available on the official website of KEAM i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in. Interested candidates will apply for the exam by filling the application form, uploading the required documents, processing the payment of application fee, and then submitting the duly filled application form.

Candidates must ensure that the details filled in the application form must be correct as any incorrect information may lead to cancelation of candidature. As per the stats of KEAM Registration 2022, there were total 35783 male and 35959 female students who appeared in the examination.

Candidates can upload their passport sized photograph, signature, personal details on the window that will be available after the registration process is completed. In this article, the steps to apply for CEEKerala have been mentioned in order to answer questions such as “How to apply for KEAM 2023?”, “What are the steps to register for KEAM Exam?”, or “How can I apply for KEAM Exam?”. Candidates must complete all these steps in order to successfully register themselves for the exam. They must fill the form before the last date of application of KEAM 2023.

Step 1 – Registration

  • Visit the official website of KEAM i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Click on the “KEAM Registration” link and the details such as Applicant's name, DOB, Email id and Mobile number, Password, and the Security code on the screen.
  • After the successful registration of KEAM 2023, candidates will receive and application number of their registered email id.

Step 2 – Fill KEAM Application Form 2023

  • In this step, candidates are required to fill in every basic information such as preferred course, personal details, etc.
  • Course – Candidates must select the course or courses which they would want to take admission to. They also must select the examination centre from the options available in the form.
  • Personal Details – Afterwards, they must enter their personal details such as gender, Aadhar card UID, Address, Mobile number, etc.
  • Qualification Details – Enter academic/ qualification details i.e. exam status of 12th class board exam, or whether a student has applied for CEEKerala before, etc.
  • Reservation – In this section, applicants will be able to claim (if eligible) communal reservation.
  • Income Details – They must enter family income details while filling the application form.

Step 3 – Payment of Application Fee

In this step, applicants must process the payment of the application fee. Candidates belonging to general category are required to process the payment of INR 700 as KEAM Application Fee while candidates belonging to SC category are required to pay INR 300 as KEAM Registration Fee.

Step 4 – Uploading of Scanned Images

In this step, applicants must upload all the required documents such as passport sized photograph, signature, and left thumb impression.

  • The application fee for SC candidates during the time of KEAM 2022 Registration was INR 300.
  • Candidates can process the payment of application fee through Online Payment Modes and E-challan. Through online payment, candidates can make the payment through internet banking, or credit/debit card. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Pay Application Fee' tab at the top turned green.

  • Candidates seeking admission through KEAM must ensure that they register themselves for the exam by filling the KEAM Application Form available online on the official website. Below mentioned are the complete details with some key instructions concerning the KEAM Application Form 2023:
  • The application form for the exam will been released in the 1st week of April 2023 on the official website of KEAM.
  • Candidates, before filling the application form, must confirm if they stand eligible for the exam as only eligible candidates will be allowed to submit the application form.
  • Candidates must ensure that the details filled in by them in the application form are correct as any incorrect detail will lead to cancellation of their candidature.
  • Though the examination conducting authority will also provide the application form correction facility in case any corrections are to be made in the form by candidates.
  • The KEAM Application Form Correction facility will be commenced after KEAM Registration Process is concluded successfully.
  • The last date to submit the application form is in second week of May 2023
  • Candidates will be advised to keep the printout of their duly filled application form and fee receipt for future reference.

KEAM Eligibility Criteria

The general eligibility criteria of CEEKerala are required to be fulfilled by the aspirants seeking admission through KEAM Exam. Below mentioned are some of the factors that students must fulfil in order to be eligible for the examination:

  • Candidates with Indian nationality are eligible. (Candidates with OCI/ PIO or Indian Citizenship can apply for the exam.)
  • Candidates' age must be at least 17 years as on 31st December 2023
  • Candidates are categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I), and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II) candidates seeking admission to Professional Degree programs will be classified (NK II).

KEAM Admit Card

KEAM Admit Card will release a few days before the commencement of the examination. Candidates who would successfully register for the exam will be able to download their respective admit card. Below mentioned are some of the key points of KEAM 2023 Admit Card:

  • KEAM 2023 Admit Card will be made available on the official website of CEEKerala and candidates can download their respective admit card by logging into their account using their credentials.
  • Candidates must get a printout of their admit card and take it along on the examination day.
  • No soft copy will be accepted at the examination hall.
  • Only blue/black ball point pens will be allowed in the examination hall.

How to download KEAM Admit Card?

  • Visit the official website of CEE i.e. cee.kerala.gov.in.
  • Go to home page and click on the link for KEAM 2023.
  • After entering the login credentials, click on “Download KEAM 2023 Hall Ticket”.
  • Click on ‘Submit' button.
  • KEAM 2023 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download your admit card and check if all the details mentioned on it are correct.
  • Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.
