KIITEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to KIITEE 2023, candidates must meet the minimum academic qualifications and other requirements set by the university. This includes the percentage of reserved seats for candidates from designated categories. Failure to meet the eligibility criteria will result in ineligibility, even if the application form has been completed.

Passed either the NATA exam conducted by the Council of Architecture or JEE Main Paper 2.

Completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English (PCBE) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

A minimum age of 17 years as of December 31, 2020.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria: B.Tech

To be eligible for KIITEE 2023 and apply for B.Tech programs, candidates must:

  • Have passed or be currently enrolled in 10+2 in Science stream on a full-time regular basis
  • Have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
  • It is recommended that candidates review the KIITEE eligibility criteria prior to applying, as only eligible candidates are permitted to participate in the examination.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria: BBA 

To be eligible for the BBA entrance exam conducted by KIIT, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks
  • Have taken Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Economics/Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level
  • Have a birthdate on or after July 1, 1997.
  • It is important to review the eligibility criteria before applying, as only eligible candidates will be considered.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria: Law

To be eligible for the KIITEE Law exam, candidates must:

  • Have completed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • For B.Sc. LLB, have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
  • It is advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be permitted to participate in the exam. There is no age restriction to take the exam, as per the Supreme Court's stay on age limits in 2017.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria: MA Mass Communication

To be eligible for the Mass Communication programme at KIIT, candidates must:

  • Have completed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized Central/State Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Meet the age limit set by the institute.
  • For the Diploma in Acting, candidates must:
  • Have passed 10+2 with a strong interest in theatre, drama, or acting.
  • For students who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Organisation, Geneva, Switzerland, Class 12 pass is considered the eligibility qualification.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria: M.Tech

To apply for the M.Tech program at KIIT, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Hold a B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent (e.g. AMIE, GRADE-IETE) in a related field of engineering and technology with a first-class or equivalent CGPA, or have a first-class MCA/M.Sc in (Computer/IT/ETC).
  • GATE qualified candidates will receive preference in the selection process, and those with a score of 400 or above are exempt from the entrance exam.
  • Note that eligibility requirements vary based on the specific M.Tech program being applied for, so candidates should carefully check the criteria for their desired program before applying.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria: LLM

To be eligible for the KIITEE LLM entrance exam, applicants must have earned a B.A.LLB/BBA LLB/B.Sc.LLB/B.L. degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

KIITEE Eligibility Criteria: MCA

  • To enroll in the three-year MCA program at KIIT, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and have studied mathematics at either the Class 12 or undergraduate level. The candidate's date of birth must be on or after July 1, 1994.
  • For the two-year MCA (Lateral Entry) program, applicants must either have completed or be currently pursuing their final year exams in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science/IST/ITM) from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

KIITEE Exam Pattern 2023

To prepare effectively for KIITEE 2023, it is important for candidates to familiarize themselves with the exam pattern.
