XLRI Jamshedpur has released the XAT Exam Date through an official notice on its official website. XAT 2023 will be conducted on 8 January 2023. As per the previous trend of XAT Exam, the examination conducting authority has been holding the exam on the first Sunday of January but the first Sunday of the year 2023 is on 1st January i.e. New Year's day, hence the exam is scheduled to be conducted on the following Sunday i.e. 8 January. XAT Registration will begin from 10 August 2022 and students willing to apply for the exam can register themselves on the official website by filling the application form.
The Xavier Aptitude Test prominently known as XAT is a National Level Entrance Test conducted by Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur on account of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). XAT is conducted every year to select potential students for management programs offered by top business schools, associated with the institution as part of XAMI. Apart from XAMI, 160 other MBA Colleges also will accept XAT Score for shortlisting students in their various PGDM 2023-25 management programs. XLRI Jamshedpur has been conducting the exam for more than 70 years now. Last year the pattern of the entrance exam was changed from offline pen-paper mode to computer-based online mode.
The registration process can be completed and the application form of XAT 2023 can be filled online on the official website of XAT from 10 August 2022. Candidates willing to take the exam must also make the registration fee of INR 1800 via any online payment gateway. The last date to apply for XLRI XAT Exam 2023 is expected to be 30 November 2022.
XAT Full Form is Xavier Aptitude Test and XLRI Jamshedpur conducts the exam for admission to various MBA Institutes across India. The exam to be conducted on 2nd Jan will have 101 questions instead of 100 questions as the last year's question paper. XAT Essay Writing is again a part of XAT Question Paper after 3 years. Despite COVID-19 situation across the country, XLRI conducted XAT 2022 as a center-based test across 72 cities in the country.

XAT Registration for XAT 2023 will start from 10 August 2023 and the conducting authorities will make the XAT Application Form available online on the official website. While filling the application form of XAT 2023, the candidates must ensure that they process the payment of INR 1800 (without late fee) or INR 2100 (with late fee) depending on the date of registration as XAT 2023 Application Fee or XAT 2023 Registration Fee. The payment must be processed through online payment modes only.

XAT Syllabus 2023 is generally divided into 4 sections namely Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Except the last one, General Awareness, the other three sections are determined for percentile calculation in XAT Result and XLRI Shortlisting Criteria. Marks obtained by candidates in General Awareness are not considered for percentile calculation but are later taken into account for the Personal Interview round.
Like other MBA Exams, the conducting authorities of XAT 2023 haven't formed a definitive syllabus for the examination due to which the preparation of XAT Exam becomes difficult.
