About the Job
Join our product team to design and build new features and improve existing microservices, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and observable.Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop clean, testable code with Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.x based on product requirements.
2. Design REST/GraphQL APIs and background jobs with high performance and low latency.
3. Model schemas in PostgreSQL and legacy MySQL using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
4. Embed metrics, tracing, and logging; maintain strong security practices.
5. Refactor legacy code toward clean architecture and introduce reactive patterns where beneficial.
6. Write and maintain tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, AssertJ, and Testcontainers; promote TDD/BDD.
7. Build lean Docker images and manage Kubernetes deployments with Helm/Kustomize and CI/CD tools.
8. Develop asynchronous consumers with Google Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ; ensure data consistency with saga/outbox patterns.
9. Implement logging, distributed tracing, and resilience patterns using OpenTelemetry and Resilience4j.
10. Participate in incident response and improve operational runbooks.
