The XAT is a computer-based test (CBT) that is given once a year in January. The candidate's sectional, overall, and percentile scores are included in the XAT result. Candidates often get confused between the XAT Score Vs Percentile. The number of applicants who took the exam determines the XAT percentile. The XAT Score Vs Percentile varies every year. In this article, we will talk about:
The XAT percentile is essentially a candidate's rank among all test takers. It can also be defined as the total percentage of candidates who scored lower or equal to a specific candidate.
The XAT percentile is calculated similarly to other MBA entrance exam percentiles: number of candidates - rank of a candidate/number of candidates x 100.
Because MBA colleges accepting XAT scores for admission shortlist candidates based on percentile rather than raw score, it is critical to understand how much a score translates to how much XAT percentile. XAT is one of India's most popular MBA entrance exams. It is accepted by over 800 business schools in India. The XAT cutoff percentiles for admission to various institutes differ. As a result, knowing how much XAT percentile is required for admission to your desired institute is critical.
The XAT score is the total number of points earned by the candidate. The XAT score is the total of all sectional scores obtained by the candidate. The XAT Score is then used to calculate the XAT Percentile.
The XAT Score is accepted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, and other XAT-affiliated institutions. XLRI administers the XAT on behalf of XAMI. More than 160 institutions accept the XAT score for admission. The XAT Score vs. Percentile 2021 is given below:

Candidates aiming for the top B schools through XAMI must be fully aware of the XAT score vs percentile. The XAT percentile varies from year to year due to factors such as the difficulty level of the paper and the number of candidates who take the exam. The XAT score vs percentile is important for the candidate to understand the score that must be obtained in the exam.
Note: According to the XAT's score normalization process, no candidate can receive negative scores or percentiles. Furthermore, no candidate receives a perfect score.

M.Com Subjects: Semester Wise Subjects List, Syllabus, Books 2023
By - Chetna Verma 2023-06-26 09:10:56 , 6 min readThe XAT Score is the number of score an individual received in the exam, whereas the XAT Percentile is the percentage of candidates who received fewer score than the applicant.
The overall and section-wise difficulty level of the exam, total number of test-takers and their performance, XAT Normalization scores, and previous year’s XAT percentile are the factors that determine the XAT Percentile.
A score of 36-40 is required to be above 99 and close to 100 on the XAT. The XAT does not require a score of 99 or higher as 95+ works.
According to previous years’ trends, a XAT score of 47-50/100 can get you up to 99 percentile.
To improve your XAT exam score, take a variety of XAT mock tests and practice answering all types of questions. During the exam, you can improve your score by answering the appropriate questions. You will know which types of questions are your strength and which types are your weakness if you have practiced enough mock exams.
