The establishment of Birla Institute of Management Technology commonly referred to as BIMTECH, took place in the academic year of 1998. The institute was established under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and culture and was supported by Birla Group of Companies. It is a private business school. The institute has been given Grade ‘A+' and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institute basically offers postgraduate business programs. According to the rankings of National Institutional Ranking Framework, the BIMTECH was ranked 57 amongst the management schools in India in the year 2019 and 16 by Outlook India's Top 100 Management Schools.

The BIMTECH is located in Greater Noida and does provide an above average campus. The infrastructure of the institute is one of the main aspects. Since it is one of the best business schools in India, the BIMTECH manages to provide all the basic facilities and amenities inside of the campus.

  • The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and are well furnished. Every classroom in the campus is well equipped with projector facility for a better understanding of the subjects.

The faculty members of the college use the conductive style of teaching. They are well educated and quite qualified in their respective subjects. They use many practical teaching methods. They do conduct case studies, simulations, group discussions, and group presentations. They help students through the placement procedures as well.

The Birla Institute of Management Technology Courses includes Postgraduate Business Programs. These programs are offered under various specializations. Candidates seeking admission can choose specializations they wish to pursue their career in. The courses include the Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM).

The Birla Institute of Management Technology Placements are quite impressive and reputed companies like Gartner, KPMG, HDFC, etc. visit every year in order to recruit deserving candidates. The candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance and participation in the events conducted by the college. The highest package offered by the companies is 22.5 LPA while the average one remains to be at 5 LPA. Besides, the candidates shortlisted for internship programs get a stipend that varies from INR 30,000 pm to INR 5000 pm.
