Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) Details

The Institute of Public Enterprise, commonly known as IPE, was established in the academic year of 1964. The institute has been approved by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. The postgraduate programs offered by the institute are accredited by SAQS. Besides, it is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The institute has been Ranked 5th in sectoral colleges and 10th in top 10 government B school in India by All India Best B-Schools Outlook Survey.

The infrastructure of the institute is spread over an area of 21 acres and is remarkably good with access to free Wi-Fi around the campus and hostels. There are various basic amenities provided to the students. The classrooms are air-conditioned, furnished, and properly ventilated with adequate space. The laboratories are equipped with the latest technology and the computers are well connected through LAN. High-speed Wi-Fi is provided to make information accessibility easier for students. Institute of Public Enterprise Admission includes qualifying the respective entrance examinations followed by personal interview and group discussion rounds.

Candidates seeking admission to the program offered by the institute must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institute.

  • The candidates seeking admission to PGDM must hold a bachelor’s degree securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • For admission to MBA, the candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate with at least two years of the relevant work experience.
  • Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. are required to hold a master’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

For admission:

  • The candidates are required to qualify CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT followed by personal interview and group discussion rounds.

The placement trend of the institute can be seen improving over the past few years. The placement and training cell of the institute has been associated with several reputed organizations. The cell conducts various events to enhance the skills of participants.
