Ramaiah Institute of Technology provides postgraduate courses in M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. The duration of these full-time courses is two years. RIT Bangalore's M.Tech program offers a range of specialty choices to its candidates. However, the applicant has to have a B.E./B. Tech degree in the same field as his M. Tech program in addition to a qualifying score from the PGCET or GATE in order to be admitted to the M. Tech program. Candidates for MBA and MCA programs must take and pass one of the admission tests, KMAT or PGCET.

Candidates are required to hold a B.E./B.Tech Degree in the specific discipline for which they want to pursue M.Tech, with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
