Lovely Professional University (LPU) conducts its own entrance exam LPUNEST every year to offer admission to it's different undergraduate and postgraduate programs. LPUNEST is a scholarship test as well on the basis of which the university offers scholarship facility for the eligible candidate.
LPU-NEST was conducted in an online mode across 110 centers in 50 different countries and 200 cities of India from 2nd week of September 2019 to 9th January 2020 for Schedule 1, the result of same will be declared by the LPU on its official website lpu.in. Candidates who have appeared for the test will be eligible for the admission to the university as per their performance in the entrance test.
How can I check my LPUNEST Result?
LPU has declared the result of its entrance exam forphase1. Candidates can check their result as per the below-mentioned steps.
- Visit the official Website
- Click on LPUNEST result on the official website
- Enter the Username and Password to check the details
- Click on Submit
- The result will appear on the screen with information such as rank scored etc.
- Students are advised to take a printout of the result for the further admission process.
What if I score equal to the other candidate?
Two or more candidates securing the same marks in the LPUNEST will be given admission as per the Tie Break Criteria of the university. LPU follows below-mentioned steps in a Tie-Breaker situation
- Candidate securing higher marks in the sum of the 2 best subjects will be considered
- In case the tie still persists, Candidate with highest in any of the subject will be considered
- If the tie still remains, Candidate older in age will be considered.
LPU 2020 Counselling
Students who will be clearing the LPUNEST will be shortlisted for the further counseling process. The counselling will be held in an online mode, the candidate has to mark the preference. Final admission will be granted on the basis of the rank secure, seat availability and choices filled.
Students have to bring along the required documents at the time of counselling process.
