About the Internship
Are you a numbers whiz with a passion for all things accounting? Scoopstyle is looking for a dynamic Accounting & Bookkeeping intern to join our team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial management while working closely with our skilled accounting team.Key responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks: payments, deposits, expenses, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statements, and notes to accounts.
- Monitor sales, discounts, returns, and ensure accurate reporting for both retail and e-commerce transactions.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable and general ledger management.
- Inventory and COGS accounting: oversee stock counts, inventory reconciliations, and process adjustments for returns/exchanges.
- Tax compliance: prepare and file GST returns, calculate and deposit TDS, and ensure statutory compliance with tax laws.
Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
