About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:1. Researching and identifying new clients (corporates, SMEs, schools, NGOs) for e-waste collection and ITAD services.
2. Reaching out via LinkedIn, email, and phone to set up meetings with potential partners.
3. Organizing and coordinating e-waste collection drives with NGOs, schools, and communities.
4. Managing communication with clients for pickups, referrals, and partnerships.
5. Maintaining a prospect/client database in Excel or CRM and updating it weekly.
6. Supporting EWRI’s referral program by tracking leads and rewarding referrers.
7. Assisting in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and client communication material.
8. Attending sustainability events, trade fairs, and industry seminars to represent EWRI, network with stakeholders, and generate leads.
9. Preparing post-event reports with key learnings, contacts made, and follow-up actions.
