About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:A. Market Research & Intelligence:
1. Tracking competitor marketing strategies (pricing, doctor outreach, digital campaigns).
2. Researching demand trends in different therapeutic areas.
3. Analyzing consumer/patient awareness programs used by rival pharma companies.
B. Marketing Strategy Development:
1. Assisting in designing brand positioning strategies for new/existing products.
2. Working on digital marketing ideas for patient/doctor engagement.
3. Supporting sales team with marketing collaterals (brochures, presentations, campaign briefs).
4. Benchmarking Aqutrus’s pricing and distribution models against competitors.
C. Data & Sales Analysis:
1. Analyzing sales data by region, product, and channel (hospitals, retail, distributors).
2. Identifying high-potential markets and underperforming zones.
3. Tracking ROI of ongoing marketing campaigns and suggesting improvements.
D. Collaboration & Coordination:
1. Working with the sales & marketing team to gather feedback from doctors/distributors.
2. Coordinating with supply chain for product availability in focus regions.
3. Supporting business development in identifying new partnerships or distributors.
E. Reporting & Presentations:
1. Preparing market analysis decks for leadership.
2. Summarizing competitor campaigns and suggesting actionable insights.
3. Creating sales & marketing performance trackers for weekly reviews.
F. Learning & Development:
1. Understanding pharma-specific marketing regulations (no direct-to-consumer ads, doctor-focused marketing).
2. Learning about CRM tools, pharma sales-force automation, and brand campaign strategies.
3. Shadowing senior managers in distributor/doctor meetings for practical insights.
G. End of Day Wrap-up:
1. Updating marketing project tracker with progress.
2. Sharing daily insights/reports with manager.
3. Documenting learnings on effective pharma marketing approaches.
