About the Internship
As a site manager intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the interior renovation sector while working with a dynamic and innovative team. Your proficiency in MS Excel, strong interpersonal skills, fluent English writing ability, knowledge of construction management, and understanding of interior design will be valuable assets in this role.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Working with two key teams – Design and General Contractor – as a representative of the client, assisting in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely completion of the project.
2. Conducting daily on-site inspections and recording to-do checklists for the day to ensure tasks are performed on budget, on quality, and on time.
3. Collaborating with design/architect, general contractor, and possible specialists in structural engineering, lighting engineering, home automation, etc., to resolve any design or construction issues that may arise.
4. Utilizing MS Excel to track project timelines, expenses, create reports, and analyze data (especially quotations) to support decision-making processes.
5. Communicating effectively with team members, client, and vendors to ensure clear and concise project updates and status reports.
6. Assisting in the procurement of materials and equipment, as well as the coordination of deliveries to the construction site.
7. Contributing to the development of innovative design solutions and interior finishes that enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the project.
