About the Internship
We are seeking a part-time content writer with a strong interest in cricket analytics to support our publishing efforts across international cricket markets, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The ideal candidate will combine SEO expertise with cricket knowledge, ensuring our published articles are both search-friendly and engaging for fans.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct keyword research specific to cricket analytics, predictions, fantasy picks, and performance analysis.
2. Manage the publishing of articles with proper on-page SEO practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers, structured data, and keyword placement).
3. Ensure high SEO content scores, including:
4. Readability Score (clarity, sentence flow, Flesch Reading Ease).
5. Keyword Optimisation (focus + semantic keywords used naturally).
6. Engagement Metrics (CTR, time on page, bounce rate).
7. Collaborate with writers to make sure published content reflects both SEO best practices and cricket analytics accuracy.
8. Track cricket search trends across global leagues (e.g., The Hundred, Vitality Blast, IPL, Big Bash).
