About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Researching and identifying vendors, fabrics, trims, and other materials suitable for the brand’s collections.
2. Assisting in sourcing natural fabrics and ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely availability.
3. Maintaining communication with suppliers, requesting samples, and following up on orders.
4. Comparing quotations and supporting basic negotiation for pricing and timelines.
5. Tracking and updating procurement records, samples, and purchase orders.
6. Supporting inventory checks for fabrics and raw materials.
7. Coordinating logistics for sourcing, including deliveries, pickups, or courier arrangements.
8. Assisting in documenting vendor databases and building long-term sourcing contacts.
9. Pitching ideas and providing input on fabric usage, trims, and styling suggestions when required.
10. Collaborating closely with the founder or team to align sourcing with brand vision and design needs.
