Calling all aspiring filmmakers! Become an AI intern at Lateral Works Studio.
Location: Vasai, Mumbai (Palghar District)

Are you passionate about filmmaking but curious about the future of storytelling? Do you come from an editing, VFX, cinematography, costume, or production background, and want to upgrade your skills with the power of artificial intelligence?

Lateral Works Studio is offering a unique and intensive 6-month AI Internship program for creators, filmmakers, and visual artists, not engineers. This is for those who dream in shots, see stories in light, and believe in the power of cinema — but now want to learn how AI will change everything.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on generative AI tools for video (RunwayML, Pika, Gen-3)
2. Work on text-to-image art with MidJourney, Leonardo, and SDXL
3. Work on voice generation and dubbing with ElevenLabs and AI voice tools
4. Work on AI-based screenwriting, pre-visualisation, and storyboarding using ChatGPT and other LLMs
5. Work on virtual production using Unreal Engine
6. Work on case studies of AI-led web series and film projects
7. Work on daily hands-on practice + real projects for internal productions

What We Offer:

1. A structured 6-month internship designed for filmmakers, covering: "The process and workflow of using AI from script to feature film. The world of prompting, text to image, image to video, and image and video manipulation to achieve the desired result through AI." We are in the business of making feature films, and everyone in the team will be working on live projects."₹5,000/month stipend for the internship period.
2. Access to high-performance AI workstations and creative tools.
3. Job offer post-internship based on performance, with full salary and long-term growth opportunities in AI filmmaking.

🧠 Who Can Apply:

1. Must come from a background in film or content production — editing, direction, cinematography, VFX, sound, costumes, art direction, set design, or general film school
2. Passionate about content, storytelling, and cinematic arts
3. Must be eager to learn and work hard: 6 days/week with daily learning + project assignments
4. We do not want coders, engineers, or data scientists — this is a program by filmmakers, for filmmakers

Location Criteria - Our studio is based in Vasai, Mumbai (Palghar District). Due to daily training and studio work, we are only accepting candidates who live within 30-45 minutes of Vasai Station on the Western Railway Line.

Preferred Residential Areas: Vasai East & West, Nalasopara, Virar, Naigaon, Bhayander, Mira Road (only if commute is consistently under 30 minutes). If you stay farther away, this internship may not be the right fit due to the commute and training discipline. But if you are mad about films and willing to travel. We will consider.
