About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Developing Fundraising Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
2. Fundraising: Understanding and strategizing to raise funds as per the organization’s quarterly targets.
3. Donor Cultivation and Relationship Management: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other funding sources to secure financial support for the organization.
4. Grant Writing and Proposal Development: Research funding opportunities, prepare grant proposals, and submit funding applications to secure grants from government agencies, foundations, and other grant-making organizations.
5. Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events to engage donors and raise funds for specific programs or initiatives.
6. Financial Oversight: Monitor fundraising performance, track revenue goals, and analyze fundraising data to inform strategic decision-making and optimize fundraising efforts.
7. Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including program staff and communications professionals, to align fundraising efforts with organizational objectives and ensure effective communication with donors and stakeholders.
