About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Conduct physical verifications and audits to confirm asset existence and condition
2. Maintain the hospital fixed asset register and records
3. Track acquisition, disposal, and movement of assets with proper documentation
4. Calculate and record depreciation in line with accounting standards
5. Collaborate with finance for asset valuation, reporting, budgeting, and analysis
6. Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and other departments for asset management efficiency
7. Ensure compliance with healthcare industry asset management policies
8. Prepare fixed asset reports for management review
9. Support internal and external audit processes
10. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting for asset-related expenditures
11. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for assets
