About the Internship
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to build the foundations of Human Resource Management while handling core managerial functions of the startup. As the first dedicated HR professional in the company, you will set up policies, processes, and practices that shape the employee experience and strengthen our culture.If you are passionate about creating people-centric systems, enjoy taking initiative, and want to be part of a fast-growing organization, this internship gives you the opportunity to contribute at a foundational level.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, employee handbook, and processes aligned with the organization.
2. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, interviews, offers, onboarding).
3. Make appraisal systems, feedback frameworks, and employee engagement programs.
4. Handle payroll and leave management while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments, Gratuity, etc.)
5. Work closely with the Founder to support management and compliance.
6. Manage travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and company events.
7. Handle filling out forms, applications, and statutory documentation for events and permits.
8. Work with leadership to build a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business Administration, or related).
2. Strong understanding of Indian employee related laws and HR compliance.
3. Ability to set up HR systems and processes independently.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; HRMS exposure is an advantage.
6. Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment
