About the Internship

Insaaf.AI is a cutting-edge LegalTech platform that leverages AI to democratize access to justice. We aim to simplify legal research, contract drafting, case analysis, and access to affordable legal assistance. Our mission is to bridge the gap between citizens, lawyers, and institutions by making legal services more transparent, accessible, and efficient.

We are seeking a Legal Intern who is passionate about law, technology, and justice innovation. This is not a routine internship — you will work closely with the founding team to design and implement Insaaf.AI’s legal workflows, validate AI outputs, and ensure compliance, accuracy, and reliability in legal applications.
You will also play a key role in researching laws, case studies, and drafting frameworks that power the AI, while representing Insaaf.AI in legal and industry discussions.

📝 Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and case law analysis to support AI model training and validation.
Draft, review, and proofread contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Work with the tech team to design legal knowledge bases, workflows, and user journeys.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international legal frameworks.
Support in policy writing, regulatory submissions, and legal documentation.
Contribute to investor decks, reports, and product roadmaps with a legal lens.
Assist in user testing, feedback collection, and AI accuracy improvements.
Represent Insaaf.AI in events, legal forums, and startup ecosystems.

🎯 Requirements
Currently pursuing or completed LLB / BA-LLB / LLM (law students, fresh graduates welcome).
Strong knowledge of Indian legal system (exposure to global laws is a plus).
Excellent research, drafting, and communication skills.
Interest in LegalTech, AI, and access-to-justice initiatives.
Ability to lead small projects independently and work in cross-functional teams.
Remote (hybrid setup if the candidate needs).
