About the Internship
Interns should assist with data gathering, analysis, and reporting to understand market conditions, competitor strategies, and client preferences for business and marketing decisions about rare disease companies.Key responsibilities include conducting secondary research in the pharma and biotech industry, focusing on rare diseases, converting data into actionable insights, and helping to develop strategies based on these findings. The role provides hands-on experience in data collection, analytical tools, and report creation.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Data Gathering & Analysis: Collect and analyse data on healthcare industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences using various tools and methods (for the global market and Indian market).
2. Report Generation: Summarize research findings, convert raw data into clear reports, tables, and graphs, and help present these insights to stakeholders.
3. Market Monitoring: Track market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Research Skills: Proficiency in conducting secondary research using search engines and other resources.
2. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
3. Communication Skills: Clear and effective written and verbal communication to present complex ideas and findings.
4. Technical Skills: Competence with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with statistical software.
5. Desire to Learn: A willingness to learn about the healthcare industry, data collection methods, and new technologies used in the field.
