About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Contribute to brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for new products and features.
2. Develop and communicate design concepts through high-quality sketches, illustrations, and storyboards.
3. Build detailed and accurate 3D models for product concepts and design iterations using Blender and other CAD software.
4. Create photorealistic 3D renderings and visualizations for design reviews, presentations, and marketing materials.
5. Assist in the creation of physical mockups and prototypes to evaluate form, ergonomics, and usability.
6. Apply principles of ergonomic design to ensure products are comfortable, intuitive, and user-friendly.
7. Support the senior design team in conducting user research and usability testing to validate design concepts.
8. Explore and document Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) options that align with product styling and brand identity.
9. Collaborate with engineers to understand technical constraints and ensure design feasibility.
10. Refine product styling and form details based on constructive feedback from team leads.
11. Prepare and maintain design documentation and specification sheets for development handoff.
12. Conduct competitive analysis and research on industry trends to inform design strategy.
13. Assist in preparing compelling presentations to communicate design intent to internal stakeholders.
