About the Internship
Mason Mart (MM) is launching a new digital application for the building materials sector, and we are looking for interns to help analyze and decide which products should be listed on the platform. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in market research, product analysis, and supply chain operations in the construction industry.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Market Research & Product Analysis:
1. Research various building materials and their demand in different regions.
2. Identify high-demand products across categories such as dry mix mortar, waterproofing chemicals, tile adhesives, AAC blocks, cement, etc.
B. Competitor & Pricing Analysis:
1. Study competitor applications and analyze their product offerings.
2. Compare pricing, quality, and brand popularity to determine the best fit for MM’s platform.
C. Vendor & supplier coordination:
1. Collaborate with existing suppliers and explore new partnerships.
2. Gather details on pricing, MOQ (minimum order quantity), and logistics feasibility.
D. Data-driven decision-making:
1. Use sales data and market trends to recommend which products should be added to the platform.
2. Prepare comparison reports and present findings to the MM team.
E. Collaboration with technical & sales team:
1. Work with the tech team to ensure proper categorization of products in the digital application.
2. Support the sales team by providing insights into customer preferences and demand patterns.
