About the Internship
We are looking for interns in our organization to work & learn in the Purchase Dept.Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders and requisitions.
2. Coordinate with vendors to get quotations, follow up on deliveries, and resolve order-related issues.
3. Maintain and update purchase records, databases, and reports.
4. Support the team in vendor evaluation and comparison of quotations.
5. Help ensure the timely procurement of materials/services in accordance with company policies.
6. Track inventory levels and report shortages or surpluses.
7. Assist with invoice verification and payment follow-ups.
8. Support internal audits by organizing procurement documentation.
9. Contribute to cost analysis and procurement improvement projects.
Requirements:
1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
2. Basic knowledge of procurement processes and MS Office (especially Excel).
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
5. Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment.
