About the Internship
Robonut Projects is deploying an AI-based Automated Container Validation System for DP World across multiple terminal lanes. The system integrates IP PTZ cameras, AI models, OCR, and on-premise infrastructure to automatically detect and validate shipping container details such as container numbers, seal numbers, and ISO codes.This internship will provide exposure to real-world industrial AI deployment, including working on cutting-edge vision models, OCR integration, and hardware–software interfacing.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in training and testing AI/Computer Vision models for container and seal number detection.
3. Support OCR integration and validation of extracted data.
4 Help in camera integration (zoom/focus control) and backend testing.
5. Contribute to dataset preparation, debugging, and project documentation.
6. Regular Onsite visit Navi Mumbai Port.
Requirements:
1. Strong Python skills with knowledge of OpenCV, Yolo8 model.
2. Interest in AI, OCR, and real-world computer vision applications.
3. Networking/IP camera knowledge is a plus
