About the Internship
Are you a Python enthusiast looking to kickstart your career in software development? Regime Tax Solutions Private Limited is seeking a talented Python Development intern to join our dynamic team!Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
New Feature Development
1. Translate product requirements into clean, efficient Python code using Fast API, Flask or Django.
2. Design RESTful APIs and async background workers using Celery or native async.
3. Model relational schemas in MySQL, PostgreSQL (primary) with SQL Alchemy, Alembic, or Django ORM as appropriate.
4. Embed logging, metrics, and tracing from day one; enforce secure-by-default coding practices.
Platform Evolution & Code Quality
1. Refactor monolith or tightly coupled code into modular microservices.
2. Adopt clean architecture principles for separation of concerns and testability.
3. Promote best practices—immutability, type hints, PEP8, and well-structured exception handling.
Testing & Quality Assurance
1. Maintain unit and integration tests using unit test, uni test, and coverage.py.
2. Use tools like tox, Test containers, and mocks for environment-agnostic testing.
3. Help back-fill critical tests for existing services and coach team-mates in TDD/BDD techniques.
Production Tractability
1. Configure structured logging (struct, loguru) and tracing with OpenTelemetry.
2. Participate in incident response and blameless post-mortems; continuously improve run-books.
