About the Internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Assisting in the day-to-day inspection of incoming raw materials such as foam, fabric, and accessories.
2. Supporting the quality control team in both in-process and final product quality checks for cushions and pillows.
3. Recording inspection results, noting deviations, and maintaining accurate documentation.
4. Participating in measurement checks including dimensions, weight, firmness, etc.
5. Learning and assisting in fabric testing (GSM, colorfastness, pilling, etc.).
6. Following up on non-conformities and assisting in root cause analysis (RCA).
7. Ensuring compliance with quality standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.
8. Supporting the team during pre-dispatch inspections and packaging quality checks.
