About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1: Customer Engagement & Service
Welcome customers warmly, understand their sporting needs, and ensure they leave satisfied.
Provide "wow" service across channels— in-store, e‑commerce, and assisted digital.
Assist at customer touchpoints: welcome desk, after-sales support, and checkout facilitation.
2: Product and Category Management
Showcase strong product knowledge and recommend suitable gear.
Manage stock forecasting, availability, and category-wise merchandising.
Set up engaging visual merchandising and experiential layouts.
Use digital tools to enhance shopping choices and guide customers online.
Push store-assisted orders, app downloads, and unified customer experience.
Drive omnichannel performance for your sport category.
Qualifications & Skills:
Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Passionate about sports with strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
Comfortable with digital tools, analytics, and data‑driven decisions.
Entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, adaptability, and resilience.
Aligns with Decathlon’s values of sustainability, responsibility, and sports accessibility.
Internship Retail:
Duration: 3 months
e.g., 3‑month Omni Sport Leader Internship.
Stipend: ₹10000 per month.
