About the Internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Conceptual & Detailed Design
Assist in designing UAV components, including frames, propulsion systems, landing gear, and payload system,s using CAD tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, or Fusion 360.
2. Simulation & Testing
Support in running aerodynamic simulations using tools like ANSYS, XFLR5, or similar software; analyze structural and thermal performance of components.
3. Prototyping & Assembly
Collaborate in the fabrication and assembly of UAV prototypes; assist in field testing and troubleshooting of aerial systems.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and technical reports; ensure designs follow regulatory and safety guidelines.
5. Research & Innovation
Conduct secondary research on new materials, propulsion technologies, flight control systems, and emerging trends in UAV design.
