About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Pre-Editing Support
Organizing and backing up raw footage from shoots.
Creating and maintaining project folders with proper naming conventions.
Reviewing raw footage to mark usable takes, shots, or highlights.
2. Editing Tasks
Assembling rough cuts under the guidance of senior editors.
Trimming clips, syncing audio and video, and adjusting sequences.
Adding transitions, text, lower thirds, and simple motion graphics.
Syncing background music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
Applying basic color correction and audio clean-up.
3. Creative Contributions
Suggesting fresh ideas for edits, transitions, and storytelling.
Researching references, styles, or trending edit formats (especially for reels, shorts, and social media).
Assisting in creating highlight reels, teasers, or promo cuts.
4. Coordination & Feedback
Collaborating with content writers, directors, and graphic designers.
Incorporating feedback from senior editors or clients.
Preparing different versions (short, long, subtitle-added) of the duplicate content.
5. Technical & Admin Work
Exporting videos in required formats (social media, TV, corporate).
Adding captions/subtitles.
Ensuring the timely delivery of edited files.
Maintaining the video library/archive for future use.
