About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Design, build, and maintain the server-side logic, databases, and APIs of web applications
2. Develop scalable and secure back-end systems using languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
3. Create and manage databases (SQL or NoSQL) and ensure efficient data storage, access, and integrity
4. Develop RESTful or GraphQL APIs for front-end integration and third-party services
5. Optimize application performance, latency, and scalability under various load conditions
6. Implement user authentication, authorization, and data protection using secure protocols
7. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and designers to deliver complete solutions
8. Integrate external services, payment gateways, cloud storage, and other third-party APIs
9. Write clean, modular, well-documented code following coding standards and best practices
10. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debug server-side issues effectively
11. Use version control systems like Git to manage the codebase and support collaborative development
12. Monitor server performance and troubleshoot server errors, database bottlenecks, or API failures
13. Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and work with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
14. Maintain application security standards and patch vulnerabilities in a timely manner
15. Stay updated with emerging back-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices
