About the Job
We are looking for a dynamic, people-oriented Events Manager to support our on-ground community activation in Mumbai. This is a hands-on role involving event coordination, member onboarding, and community building. You will play a key role in engaging with older adults, helping them feel welcome, and guiding them through their journey with WalkAbout.Key responsibilities:
1. Attend and manage WalkAbout on-ground events in Mumbai and nearby areas
2. Coordinate with venue partners and vendors for smooth event execution
3. Interact with senior participants to ensure an inclusive and enjoyable experience
4. Onboard new members to the WalkAbout platform—assist with registration, app navigation, and engagement
5. Capture event feedback and help improve future events
6. Collaborate with marketing and community teams for promotions and outreach
7. Maintain attendance and engagement data from events
