About the Job
Key responsibilities:A. Launch:
1. Use data to analyze and evaluate high-potential dark store expansion opportunities in sync with the partnerships team
2. Collaborate with the real estate team to scout, negotiate, secure sites, and initiate setup
3. Design layouts, racking, staging zones, and ensure infra readiness
B. Go-to-market (GTM):
1. Build the supply-chain network design from scratch
2. Own and execute the city launch playbook across infra, staffing, setup, last-mile delivery, and SOPs
3. Coordinate closely with internal (tech, partnerships, finance, Ops, HR, real estate) and external stakeholders to keep launch timelines on track and drive strategic initiatives
C. Team building:
1. Build high-performance ground teams from scratch in every new city
2. Onboard dark store associates and delivery partners in sync with HR team, while embedding Zippee’s fast-paced, ownership-first culture
3. Set up scalable performance processes
D. Operational excellence:
1. Build and manage go-live scorecards and launch checklists
2. Set up MIS, dashboards, and operational reporting
3. Own and track city-level P&L through the launch cycle
E. Process excellence:
1. Solve operational issues and ensure all SOPs are running smoothly post-launch
