About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Payroll Processing:
Collect and verify attendance, leave records, and overtime data.
Process monthly salaries, bonuses, and reimbursements accurately.
Ensure timely salary disbursements and handling of full and final settlements (FnF).
2. Compliance & Statutory Deductions:
Calculate and deposit PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory deductions.
File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns related to payroll (EPFO, ESIC, Income Tax, etc.).
Generate Form 16 and other related documents.
3. Employee Support & Documentation:
Maintain employee master data in payroll software.
Address payroll-related queries from employees.
Generate payslips and maintain payroll records.
Assist in audits by providing necessary payroll data.
4. Reporting & Coordination:
Prepare payroll-related MIS reports for management.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external consultants for payroll-related tasks.
Required skills and qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
2. 1+ years of experience in payroll processing.
3. Knowledge of payroll software (e.g., Tally, z Order , etc.).
4. Good understanding of labor laws and tax regulations.
5. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
6. Proficient in MS Excel and other reporting tools.
7. Excellent communication and time management skills.
