About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Design interpretation & execution: Read and understand design drawings and layout plans. Work closely with design & creative teams to assess feasibility and execution timelines. Translate creative designs into tangible setups with accurate dimensions, materials, and finishes.
2. Material sourcing & vendor management: Source production materials from reliable vendors based on quality, cost and timelines. Handle vendor shortlisting, negotiation, and management for fabrication, AV, printing, transport, etc. Maintain healthy relationships with a network of vendors and on-ground teams.
3. Event planning & on-ground operations: Create production schedules, checklists, and manage inventory. Oversee setup, execution, and dismantling of event setups. Ensure all elements are installed per design and quality expectations.
4. Budgeting & cost management: Work on production budgeting in coordination with the project and accounts teams. Maintain costing sheets and ensure spending is within approved budgets.
5. People & pressure management: Lead a team of fabricators, carpenters, technicians, and freelance event staff. Manage high-pressure situations, last-minute changes, and live event execution.
