About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Accountant. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing and verifying invoices, processing payments, maintaining ledger entries, and assisting in the settlement process. This is a work-from-home position that may require working on weekends.Key responsibilities:
1. Analyze and Verify Invoices: Review and validate invoices tagged to accounts and provide comments to senior personnel for payment processing
2. Task Management: Undertake assigned tasks from team members, which may include verifying payments, verifying ledger entries, making ledger entries, and cross-checking the work of other team members
3. Booking Payments: Add payments to the booking system accurately and ensure proper documentation
4. Payment Verification: Cross-check payment entries in the booking system for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
5. Assisting in the Settlement Process: Provide support in the settlement process by performing necessary calculations and ensuring compliance with procedures
6. Continuous Learning and Assistance: Maintain a willingness to learn and assist in various areas of the accounting process as required, and stay updated on process changes and improvements
7. Communication and Teamwork: Possess good communication skills and collaborate effectively with team members, and work together towards achieving common goals
