About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Build and maintain a strong PE ecosystem by connecting with India's top PE firms, investment banks, family offices, and advisors
2. Source proprietary deal flow by engaging with family business owners across India through email, cold outreach, and networking
3. Support transactions by assisting in financial modeling, diligence preparation, industry research, and creating Investment Committee (IC) materials
4. Track deals and maintain CRM systems and deal pipelines
5. Assist in fund operations and investor reporting
6. Participate in strategic discussions and working sessions during weekly in-person meetings (if based in Mumbai)
Requirements:
1. Passion for business, investing, or entrepreneurship
2. Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clearly
3. High sense of ownership and accountability
4. Desire to perform hands-on work and contribute actively rather than just observe
5. Interest in working in a fund that operates with an ownership-driven mindset
Additional information:
1. ₹2.4L per annum offered as fixed salary
2. ₹22.6L offered as carried interest (equity), representing ₹25L of the 30% carry pool in a ₹200 crore fund
3. Potential for carried interest to grow up to ₹1.13 crore over a 7–10 year period based on fund performance
4. Fully remote role with preference for candidates based in Mumbai for weekly physical meetups
