About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Work closely with development teams to design and implement secure software solutions for the web application
2. Identify, triage, and remediate security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, and deployments
3. Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
4. Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments during feature design and architecture planning
5. Promote secure coding standards and provide training or guidance to engineers
6. Build and maintain internal tools/scripts to automate security checks and reporting
7. Monitor application and infrastructure for abnormal or malicious activity
8. Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to ensure secure infrastructure configurations
9. Assist with incident response and root cause analysis of security-related issues
10. Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory compliance requirements
