About the Job
The video editor & social media manager will be responsible for producing engaging video content and managing the NGO’s social media platforms. This role requires creativity, storytelling skills, technical editing proficiency, and social media strategy experience to build awareness, drive engagement, and promote ongoing campaigns.Key Responsibilities:
1. Edit and produce videos for campaigns, awareness projects, fundraising, testimonials, and events
2. Create short reels, long-form videos, YouTube content, and explainer videos
3. Add music, voice-overs, subtitles, and graphics for enhanced impact
4. Work with the media, PR, and project teams to conceptualize visuals that align with the brand tone
5. Handle day-to-day posting on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter
6. Plan and implement monthly content calendars
7. Monitor engagement, reach, and audience analytics to optimize performance
8. Collaborate with the design/content team for timely, relevant, and high-quality posts and stay updated with trends, viral formats, and relevant hashtags
9. Engage with followers through stories, comments, polls, and live sessions
Note: The role will begin after a successful 3-month training period, during which the candidate will receive a stipend of ₹10k – ₹15k. Upon successful onboarding, the salary will range between ₹22k to ₹55k per month, depending on experience and performance.
