The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee or IIT Roorkee changed the examination centre for GATE 2025 candidates who have been assigned one in Prayagraj initially for the dates of February 15 and 16. Due to the humongous gathering that is predicted at Mahakumbh, the exam center has been rescheduled to Lucknow. Re-download the changed admit card issued by GOAPS. The earlier change was already done for 1st February and 2nd February examinations. GATE 2025 will be held on 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th February. The answer key is also expected in the month of March.

GATE 2025: Lucknow Exam Centre for Prayagraj candidates
IIT Roorkee has shifted the GATE 2025 examination centers from Prayagraj to Lucknow for the exams scheduled on February 15 and 16. The shift was made considering the heavy presence of devotees at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj so that the exam could be conducted peacefully for the students.
Revised GATE 2025 Admit Cards Released
Candidates whose locations have been shifted need to access their revised admit cards from GOAPS. As stated on the website, it reads: "GATE 2025 Examination Centers have been shifted to Lucknow for Candidates who were already allotted Prayagraj on February 15 and 16 in view of Mahakumbh. Candidates can download their revised admit card from GOAPS."

These steps can be followed by those candidates whose respective centers are Prayagraj:
- Go to the official website of GATE 2025. https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Click on the applicant login link given on the homepage.
- Enter the login credentials
- Download your revised admit card.
- Bring a printout for reference at the time of the exam .
Previous Exam Center Changes
GATE 2025 exam centers are being rescheduled for Mahakumbh is not the first time. Last month, IIT Roorkee had also shifted the exams for candidates who were to take it on February 1 and 2 in Prayagraj. This time, all GATE 2025 candidates allocated in Prayagraj have been rescheduled to take their exams in Lucknow.
