IIT JAM 2023 registration is now open online as of September 7th, 2022. Every year, the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) holds the IIT JAM in a rotating shift. IIT Guwahati is hosting IIT JAM in 2023. The Indian Institute of Technologies Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM) is a once-per-year national-level admission exam. Candidates are offered admission to the M.Sc. (2-year), M.Sc.-Ph.D. Joint, M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual, and other Post-Degree Bachelor's & Integrated Ph.D. programs. Interested individuals will be offered admission into several IITs and Non-IITs around the nation through the Joint Entrance Test for Master's (JAM). Candidates who meet the requirements must use the JAM Online Application Processing System to apply for JAM 2023. (JOAPS). Starting on September 7, 2022, users can register and submit applications online via the official website.
Below are the steps to start the application process of IIT JAM:
1. Register yourself at JAM Online Application Processing System
On the official JOAPS website, candidates have to register first by providing information such as their name, cell phone number, registered email address, and password. Please be aware that changes to your name, phone number, or email address are not permitted. Therefore, carefully check these facts before entering them in the designated field.
2. Complete the online IIT JAM application by filling details
3. Attach a photograph and your signature.

5. Take the Form Printout

Candidates can use the IIT JAM application correction window to make changes to their forms. By paying the registration fee, aspirants can add or replace the test paper/exam centers, or change their gender/category.
1. Registration Fee for Adding a Test Paper

2. Registration Fee for change in Category and Gender

For IIT JAM Exam Centre Change
The IIT JAM application form does not allow candidates to modify their exam locations. However, test centers can only request adjustments in extraordinary circumstances and for a charge of INR 500. Only legitimate documentation will be accepted by the authorities in order to complete this request.
After submitting their forms, applicants can check the progress of their IIT Jam applications. Following the submission of the application form on the official web page, the authorities will mail the applicants a notification. Candidates must take the necessary actions to check the status of their applications.
Step 1: Go to the official JOAPS website.
Step 2: Applicants must input legitimate login information, such as an enrollment ID and password.
Step 3: Press the "Submit" key.
Step 4: Aspirants must select the Admission Status option.
Step 5: Candidates may now review the status of the IIT Jam 2023 application form.
How to retrieve password and enrollment ID of IIT JAM Application Form 2023?
While filling out the applications, candidates can forget their IIT JAM enrolling IDs and passwords. Candidates must thus use caution while completing the forms. The processes for recovering the enrolment ID and passwords are shown below.
Below are the steps to retrieve IIT JAM 2023 Password:
Step 1: On the JOAPS login page, select Forgot Enrollment ID or Password.
Step 2: After clicking the OTP request, enter your password.
Step 3: Provide information such as your mail ID, phone number, and enrolment ID.
Step 4: Select Send OTP.
Step 5 :Make a new password.
Step 6: Enter your newly generated password, OPT, and enrolment ID.
Step 7: Enter the new password and save it.
Below are the steps to retrieve IIT JAM 2023 Enrollment ID:
Step 1: On the JOAPS login page, select Forgot Enrollment ID or Password.
Step 2: Through the registered contact number, candidates should set their new enrollment ID.
Step 3: Enter your contact information and mail ID.
Step 4: Select Send Enrolment ID from the menu.
