Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, hosted its 30th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The ceremony recognized the academic success of students from FPM, PGDM, PGDM-IB, PGDM-RM, MCA, BBA, BCA, and BA (Hons) Economics, completing their educational journey successfully.
Opening Ceremony
The procession for convocation began at 10:30 AM, after which the lighting of the lamp, a flower tribute to Late Sh. Jagannath Gupta Ji, and Saraswati Vandana were done to reflect the dedication of JIMS Rohini towards wisdom and enlightenment.
Address by Distinguished Guests
The convocation ceremony started with Dr. Pooja Jain, Director of JIMS, officially opened the convocation. She gave a motivational welcome address and read out the Director's Report, summarizing the institute's achievements in the previous year.
Dr. Harshvardhan Halve, Director-General, spoke to the graduates with motivational words, reiterating the institute's commitment to excellence in management and technology education and its larger role in society.
The Convocation Address was given by Mr. Shivam Puri, MD & CEO of Cipla Health, who drew from his own graduation experience. He inspired students with practical career advice—encouraging them to accept failures, learn to change, remain authentic to themselves, and cherish the luck of being born in India.
Awards and Degree Distribution
After the keynote session, meritorious students were awarded for their academic performance.
- The coveted S. P. Marwah Memorial Trophy for the Best Student in PGDM (all three verticals) was given, along with a cash award.
- Other awards were given to academic toppers of different programs.
Later, FPM, PGDM, PGDM-IB, and PGDM-RM students were awarded their diplomas, a major academic and professional achievement.
MCA, BBA, BCA, and BA (Hons) Economics—UGC affiliated GGSIP University, Delhi degree programs graduates were awarded mementos.
Closing Ceremony
The function was brought to a close with a sincere Vote of Thanks, thanking the chief guest, management, faculty, staff, guests, and families for their unflinching support. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem, bringing to a close a memorable celebration.

Admission: Admission is done through various exams like CAT/MAT /CMAT/ATMA. On the basis of scored securely in these exams further process of GD/PI starts in different cities for new admissions.

Placement: Good internships are a bit hard to find in JIMS, But placement opportunities are quite good and the packages are also good.
Admission: It is easy to clear the exam and the syllabus is also not hard, a student with average studies can easily clear the exam.
