The JEE Main 2024 exam is around the corner, and aspirants are eagerly waiting to take the exam. The NTA has opened the image correction window for session 1 and candidates can update and must make changes by 6th January 2024, Saturday.
The official notice by NTA says, “It has been observed that the photograph uploaded by few candidates for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) – 2024 has not been found as per the required specifications, therefore, it has been decided to give an opportunity to candidates to upload the Photograph as per required specifications to avoid rejection of application by opening the window to change their actual recent photograph on their respective online application forms as per schedule.”

Reasons for Image Correction
The candidates appearing for JEE Main 2024 may need to update the image on the official website in the following cases:
- Image is blurry
- The background is not appropriate
- The image is not as per the specified dimensions
- The aspirants’ spectacles may have caused a red-eye
- The uploaded signature is not clear
- The signature is not as per the specific requirements
- The signature is in Capital letters
The process to access the Image Correction facility
- Open the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Click on the link that says, Image correction JEE Main 2024
- Login using the credentials asked, like application number, password, etc.
- Replace with the new image and cross-check check before uploading
- Download and take a printout of the confirmation page
