JoSAA 2023 Counselling Round 3 – The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) released JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result on July 12, 2023. It will be released at JoSAA official website – josaa.nic.in. It will also release the JoSAA 2023 Cutoff for Round 3 after the seat allotment result declaration.
Online reporting for payment of fees, uploading of documents, for Round 3 will be conducted from July 12 to July 14, 2023. The last date to respond to a query is July 15, 2023. Through JoSAA 2023 Round 3, candidates will be allocated seats based on their merit in the qualifying examination, the preferences filled by them and the total number of seats available in the JoSAA Participating Institutes.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the seat allotment result of JoSAA Counselling Round 2. The result was released on July 6, 2023, on the JoSAA official website – josaa.nic.in. The JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff will be declared by the conducting authority after the declaration of the JoSAA Seat Allotment List. Candidates who have registered themselves for the counselling process will be able to check and download their JoSAA 2023 Round 2 seat allotment result and cutoff by visiting the official website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in. The cutoff will be released institute wise. The JoSAA Registration began on June 19, 2023.
Candidates who have registered themselves for JoSAA 2023 Counselling will be allotted seats in any of the IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and the other GFTIs. Candidates must note that there is no other way for admission to IITs and NITs other than JoSAA Seat Allocation.

Through the JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment, candidates will get to know of the college and branch that they may get allotted in the actual round 1 allotment based on the ranks obtained by them and their respective categories. Also, in case a candidate is not satisfied he/she can always modify their filled choices before the deadline arrives. They will be able to do this based on their mocki seat allotment results to get better results in Round 1 Seat Allotment.
There are six rounds of JoSAA Seat Allotment. Candidates who are allotted seats in each JoSAA Counselling Round will be required to choose one from the three options i.e. Freeze, Float or Slide. Candidates who choose ‘Freeze’ option will be required to complete the reporting process before the mentioned deadline in order to not miss out on seat.
Those who do not get seats allotted during the JoSAA 2023 Seat allotment rounds can still get enrolled in NIT+ system through CSAB Counselling 2023. Candidates who stand eligible must apply for the JoSAA Counselling 2023 online on the JoSAA Official Website – josaa.nic.in.
Candidates with a valid score in JEE Main or JEE Advanced are the only ones allowed to participate in JoSAA Counselling 2023. During the JEE Main Counselling, there are two rounds of mock allotment which are held to help candidates make correct choices for the real allotment round. The JoSAA 2023 Seat Allotment result will be released in online mode after every round is conducted. Candidates are allotted seats as per their merit, choices made by them and the availability of seats. The Ministry of Human Resources Development established the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) in 2018. It was implemented to make the admissions process smoother, more effective, efficient, transparent, and much faster. Candidates who pass the JEE Main or JEE Advanced in order to participate in the counselling and admission process of 114 institutes (including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs) are eligible to apply. Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2023 will start the registration and choice filling for the counselling tentatively in the month of October 2023 on the JoSAA Official Website. To verify the JoSAA seat allotment outcome, students must do the following:
Following two mock allocations, the final JoSAA seat allocation will be held in six rounds. Seats are assigned to registered candidates based on their performance in the qualifying examination (JEE Main Counselling or JEE Advanced) and the choices they make during registration. Candidates can view the seat allotment result by logging in with their application number and password.
The candidate must download the provisional allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 35,000 (general) and 15,000 (SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, or ST-PwD). After paying the seat acceptance fees, candidates must report to the reporting centre (RC) for document verification.
However, if a candidate is dissatisfied with the seat assigned to him or her, they will have the following options for moving forward.
Finally, all candidates must report to their assigned colleges to confirm their admission by paying any outstanding academic fees.

After the declaration of the JoSAA Seat Allotment Result, candidates who have been allotted seats will have to first download the JoSAA Counselling Allotment Letter from the official website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in. After the allocation of seats through JoSAA Seat Allotment, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee as per the JoSAA Fee details given in the table mentioned below:

Students can check JoSAA Cutoff 2023 by visiting the official website of JoSAA – josaa.nic.in. The exam authority releases the JoSAA Cutoff separately for all the participating institutes and programs offered by them. Note* Those who qualify for both JEE Main 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023 will have a wide range of options (Few courses have certain restrictions). Those who will only qualify for JEE Main 2023. Choices will be limited to programs offered by NITs, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs. You can browse the available programs by Institute or by discipline. Once the seats are locked, no changes can be made to the filled options.
After registering, candidates must fill in their online preferences for colleges and engineering programs by the deadlines set by the major institutions. Candidates should make sure that they fill out their preferences for engineering streams and colleges since this will be one of the key characteristics used in the next round of seat allocation for JoSAA 2023. Applicants will get a login password and identification proof. Before applying for JoSAA Counselling 2023, you must also meet all of the qualifying requirements.
Only the qualified candidates of JEE Advanced 2023 were eligible for JoSAA Counselling registration and filled in their choices of course and institute on the JoSAA Official Website. Candidates are being advised to consider filling in the JEE (Advanced) and JEE Main Paper 1 and 2. Only 1 option is allocated to candidates eligible for JoSAA Counselling 2023, i.e., only one of the three options per paper. As a result, always prioritize your options. The first step in the registration process is to fill out the online registration form using the JEE Advanced 2023 registration number and password. Step 2: Login requires the JEE Advanced Application Number and Password.
Step 3: If you have registered for JEE Main Counselling 2023, enter your JEE Main 2023 Application Number.
Step 4: Candidates who did not register for JEE Main 2023 but applied for JEE (Advanced) 2023 should enter JEE Main 2023 Application No.
Step 5: If you signed up for JEE Advanced 2023, your password will be JEE Advanced 2023.
Step 6: Examine the Candidate's Profile to ensure that all personal information is valid. If needed, only the contact information can be changed.
Step 7: Click the Change Password tab to finish the Change Password process.
Step 8: From the drop-down option, choose "Submit Changes."
Candidates can review the list of all essential documents for JoSAA Counselling 2023 and must present all relevant documentation to the reporting centers on the day and time specified.
JoSAA Cutoff 2023 is released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority in the form of JoSAA Opening and Closing Rank. To confirm their enrollment, applicants who are granted seats in the counselling procedure must pay the admission fee.
Step 1: Visit csab.nic.in, the official website.
Step 2: On the homepage, click the 'CSAB special' tab.
Step 3: On the CSAB special page, click the CSAB special round 2 seat allotment result link.
Step 4: Enter your JEE Main Application number, password, and security pin.
Step 5: View the result and save it for future reference.
On October 30, 2022, the Central Seat Allocation Board announced the CSAB special round 1 seat allotment results. Applicants can now access the CSAB round 1 result for special counselling on the official website by entering their JEE application number and password. The CSAB Registration for special rounds had already begun on the official website. Candidates who were not assigned seats during the JoSAA 2022 seat allocation rounds still have the opportunity to enroll in the NIT+ system through CSAB counselling 2022.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority released JoSAA Counselling 2022 Round 6 seat allotment results on October 17, 2022.
Candidates who appeared in the JoSAA Counselling Round will now be able to check their result by visiting the official website of JoSAA - josaa.nicin. The result will be purely based on the choices filled in by the candidates during JoSAA Registration.
The JoSAA Seat Allotment 2023 seat allotment and cutoff are determined based on applicant ranks in JEE Mains Exam and JEE Advanced, their choice of programs and colleges, and the availability of seats.
On the official website, josaa.nic.in, eligible applicants had to submit their applications for the JoSAA counseling 2023. Only candidates who have passed JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced are eligible to compete in JoSAA 2023.

JoSAA Counselling 2022 began from 12 September 2022 and for all the counselling related details, students can refer to the official website of JoSAA - josaa.nic.in. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts six rounds of JoSAA Counselling for B. Tech Admissions to the Top Engineering Colleges - NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. This year, an additional super round of counselling will be conducted through CSAB in case any seats are left vacant.
Following each round of JoSAA Counselling 2023, the course- and category-specific JoSAA Opening and Closing Rank for B.Tech and B.Arch courses are released. JEE Main Cut off 2023 can be found on the official website- josaa.nic.in.

JoSAA decides on seat distribution based on candidates JEE Main 2022 ranks for NIT institutes, selections made by them, and the availability of seats. For IITs, JEE Advanced ranks, candidate preferences, and seat availability will all be taken into account while allocating seats.
The qualifying requirements for the national testing agency have been published on the official website. The following are the eligibility requirements for JEE Mains: Students must have completed their qualifying test (12th class) in the years 2021 or 2022, and students enrolled in class 12th in 2023 are also eligible. Physics, chemistry, and math should be passed with a 75%.
