Preparation Strategy for JEE Main 2025 Physics

In the JEE Main Question Paper, there are 30 questions asked in the Physics Section. Out of these 30 questions, 20  are of MCQ Type and 10 are numerical questions. Out of the 10 numerical questions, 5 questions are compulsory and must be answered.

  • While preparing for the Physics section, candidates must make sure that they devote an adequate amount of time to grasp the basic concepts of the subject. They must practice numerical calculations to score well in the exam.
  • Candidates can even refer to JEE Main Previous Year Question Papers as they prove to be the most useful for the subject as many questions share the same concepts as that of previous years’.
  • It is also advisable to prepare short notes for revision purposes. They can keep a note of all the important formulae and terms they come across. It would only require them a few hours to go through these notes the night before the exam will be commenced.
  • Now that JEE Main is the entrance test for JEE Advanced Exam, almost every aspirant would be aiming to be in the top 2,50,000 rank holders in order to be eligible to take the JEE Advanced. Thus, in order to be able to get in those 2,50,000 rank holders, candidates must have an unbeatable preparation strategy.

How to Prepare for JEE Main 2025 Physics?

  • Candidates taking the exam must make themselves familiar with several topics related to Physical Quantities. Make a list of all the units used in the books.
  • Candidates must pay special attention to the topics that are mentioned in JEE Main 2025 Syllabus but not topics like Semiconductor Devices, Electromagnetic Waves, Communication Systems, etc. as these topics hold the lowest weightage.
  • Questions from these above mentioned topics are often straightforward, simple and require less preparation.
  • Candidates must do some extra reading which will help them improve their score significantly. The information about these topics in NCERT Books is sufficient if read thoroughly.
