TS POLYCET 2024 - The State Board of Technical Education & Training, Hyderabad, will conduct the TS POLYCET Exam 2024 in the first week of May. The complete schedule of the exam along with the TS POLYCET Registration Form will be available to the candidates on the official website i.e., polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in. Candidates must have individually passed the SSC Examination with a minimum of 35% Marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
The TS POLYCET Application Form 2024 will be available online only and comprises registration, filling out the form, application fee, and submitting the necessary and relevant documents. Upon Successful registration, the TS POLYCET Admit Card will be available for download from the official website and no hard copies will be sent. Candidates must ensure to keep a regular check on the TS POLYCET website to avoid missing any relevant and important dates and updates.
Candidates must carry the admit card printout along with a valid Photo ID Proof to the exam center. Read the article further to know more about TS POLYCET 2024.
TS POLYCET stands for Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, which is a state-level examination to fill the seats in Diploma Courses offered by SBTET in Government, Government-Aided, Private Un-Aided Polytechnics, and Polytechnics run in existing Private Un-Aided Engineering Colleges in Telangana State. The Exam is conducted by The State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET) every year in an offline mode. The admissions are based on the POLYCET Rank via the online counseling process held by the SBTET. The entire procedure except the main exam is conducted online only.

A step-by-step guide on how to fill out the application form has been given below. Candidates should strictly follow the instructions and fill out the form correctly, or else it will lead to rejection.
Step 1: Registration for TS POLYCET
Visit the TS POLYCET official website and click on the ‘Registration’ tab on the home page. It will ask you to enter certain details like Name, Mobile Number, Category Details, Email ID, etc. Click on the ‘Submit’ Option once registered.
Step 2: Fill out the Application Form
Upon successful registration, the next step is to fill out the TS POLYCET Application Form. Login with your Registration Number and Password to fill out the form. You will be required to enter all the details like Contact Details, Educational Qualifications, Category Details, Uploading photograph and Signature, etc. Ensure that you fill out the form carefully and do not make any mistakes.
Step 3: Save and Preview the Application Form
Once the form is duly filled, candidates must check all the details and save the TS POLYCET Application Form for further use. It is advisable to take a printout of the same.
Step 4: TS POLYCET Application Fee Payment
Once the application form is filled out, the next step is to pay the TS POLYCET Application Fee. For this, click on ‘Pay Now’ and select your preferred payment gateway option.

The TS POLYCET Question Paper consists of 4 major sections, namely - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. While PCM is mandatory for all courses, Biology questions will be attempted only by those students who are willing to get admission to Agriculture and Veterinary Diploma Courses offered by PJTSAU and PVNRTVU.
The Total Marks for TS POLYCET will be 120. For candidates attempting the biology exam, the math marks will be reduced to 30.

The TS POLYCET Syllabus 2024 is given below. The TS POLYCET has one paper as per the syllabus of Class 10th in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. The TS POLYCET Answer Key 2024 will be released after the exam is over. The purpose of releasing the answer key is for the students to cross-verify their answers marked in the exam and get an estimate of the marks they can expect in the TS POLYCET Exam. A copy of students’ OMR Sheet is also released under the respective logins of the candidates on the official website. The Answer Key is released for all papers - Set A, B, C, and D and any objections to the answer key can be raised through the email ID at jtsecy-sbtet@telangana.gov.in.

TS POLYCET Result is declared on the official website of TS POLYCET. The marks obtained in the TS POLYCET Exam are considered for assigning the ranks based on which the students are selected for admission to various Diploma courses. Two separate ranks are generated for PCM and PCMB by scaling down Math Marks to 30. The TS POLYCET Rank Card can be downloaded by following the steps below:
In a case where 2 candidates have the same ranks, a tie-breaker is considered. Below are the criteria for tie-breaker.
In case the tie is still not resolved, the candidate who has secured a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination will be considered to have obtained a better rank.
Once the candidate has qualified in the TS POLYCET Exam they will need to appear for the online counseling process to complete the TS POLYCET Admission Process. There are 4 steps in the TS POLYCET Admission Process which are described below
Step 1: As a first step the candidate applies for the exam online on the official website and follows the registration process
Step 2: Once they are registered and have paid the fees, they will appear for the TS POLYCET Exam
Step 3: After the exam is over, the candidate will check the result through the official website and see if they qualify for the counseling process
Step 4: If the candidate has cleared the exam, they sit for the online counseling process conducted by SBTET for admission to courses offered by them. The counseling and admission to SKLTSHU, PVNRTVU, and PJTSAU are conducted separately by these universities
No Separate form or call letter is sent to the students for the counseling and seat allotment process. However, a nominal fee is charged to appear for the TS POLYCET Counseling & Seat Allotment Process. Below are the detailed steps to sit for the counseling process:
