The XAT exam is set to be conducted on 5th January 2025 as an online computer based test (CBT) across 110 exam centres in India. The candidates appearing for this prestigious XAT examination, must reach the exam hall on time and ensure that they carry all the required documents including the XAT admit card, and a valid photo ID proof like Aadhar Card or PAN card. Any candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the XAT test centre.

Therefore, to help such aspirants we have curated some important XAT guidelines for the XAT 2025 exam that the candidates must follow on the day of the exam. XAT Exam Day Dress Code
The candidates must ensure that they dress decently and formally when appearing for any entrance exam, especially the XAT exam. Below are the guidelines for the XAT exam day dress code. Aspirants must adhere to these guidelines without fail.
- Caps and headgears are not allowed
- Jackets and hoodies, clothing with pockets are not allowed
- Jewellery and accessories containing metal are not allowed
- High boots and shoes are not allowed
- Socks, plain pullovers, sweaters, and cardigans without pockets are allowed
XAT Exam Important Guidelines
To maintain discipline and decorum during the XAT exam 2025, aspirants must strictly adhere to the below mentioned instructions and guidelines.
- Candidates should carry one of the following photo IDs along with the XAT 2025 admit card
- Candidates should also carry a recent passport size photo
- Candidates will have to undergo mandatory frisking and photo ID verification for entry to the examination centre.
- Electronic items, metal items/accessories, jewellery, stationary (other than ball point pen) are prohibited inside the XAT test centres.
- Candidates must not carry bags and valuables on the exam day. There will be no provision of bag deposit at the exam centre.
- Digital copy of the XAT admit card 2025 or the photo ID will not be accepted as a valid document.
- Request for change of XAT test centre will not be accepted.
- No one will be allowed to enter the XAT exam centre after the closure of gates at 1:50 pm.
- Candidates will be allowed to login 10 minutes prior to the exam timings so that they can go through the test instructions.
- Rough sheets will be provided in the test hall.
- Candidates will have to submit the rough sheets and a copy of admit card to the invigilator before leaving the test hall.
