The admission procedure of each program offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate level is different from one another. Admission to some of the courses requires qualifying of the entrance examination while, in some cases it is merit-based.
Admission to B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry), BBA, BCA, BA, B.Pharma, B.Sc, and B.Com
There are various programs offered at the undergraduate level namely B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry), BBA, BCA, B.Sc, and B.Com. These programs are offered under several specializations thus, offering students a pool of options to choose from.

The basic eligibility for getting admission to any of the undergraduate programs is to have passed senior secondary school in the relevant field from a recognized board.
- Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program are given admission based on their performance in the JEE Main entrance examination.
Note* Candidates with a diploma in any engineering trade from the Punjab State Board of Technical Education or from any State Board of Technical Education are also eligible to apply for admission to B. Tech.
- Admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) is done based on the merit in the last qualifying examination.
- Admission to BBA, BA, B.Pharma, BCA, B.Sc (Hons.), B.Sc, and B.Com (Hons.) entirely depends on the basis of candidates’ performance in senior secondary school.
Note* 85% of the total seats in each course are reserved for the candidates of Punjab state only and the rest 15% of seats are for the students from other states.

CGC Jhanjeri Courses offer MBA and M.Com programs at the postgraduate level. These programs are offered under several specializations. The programs are offered under several specializations.
For admission to any of these programs, it is important to possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- For admission to MBA, the candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the CMAT merit list or any other equivalent entrance examination.
- For admission to M. Com, the candidates are shortlisted based on their merit in the last qualifying examination.
Minimum Educational Qualification
Candidates seeking admission to the courses offered by CGC Jhanjeri must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institute. For more information, they are advised to visit the official website of the college.

For Undergraduate Programs
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech (1st year) must have passed 10+2 in the Non-Medical stream from a recognized board.
- For admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry – 2nd Year), candidates must possess a 3-year diploma in engineering from a recognized institute.
- Candidates seeking admission to BCA, BBA, BBA (Service Industry Management), B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc. (Fashion Technology), B.A. (JAMC), and B.Sc. (AMT) must qualify senior secondary school in any stream from a recognized board.
- For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and B.Pharma, and B.Sc. (MLS), candidates must have passed 10+2 in Medical or Non-Medical securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
- For admission to B.Sc. (Computer Science) and B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, candidates must have a qualified senior secondary school in Non-Medical.
- For admission to B.Sc. (Non-Medical), candidates must have passed 10+2 in non-medical securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Honors (Nutrition and Dietic) must have passed 10+2 in medical or non-medical.
For Postgraduate Programs
- For admission to MBA, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Candidates seeking admission to M.Com must possess a bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Management/ Business Administration securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to D.Pharmacy must have passed 10+2 in medical or non-medical from a recognized board.
Note* Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given 5% marks relaxation during the admission procedure.
Note* Candidates seeking admission through state quota seats are shortlisted by online counseling conducted by IK Gujral University while application forms for management quota seats are filled online by visiting the official website of the college.

The admission application procedure of CGC Jhanjeri needs to be completed online on the official website of CGC Jhanjeri. The institute has a devoted admission cell which facilitates the admission process. The campus is well known for its infrastructure and placements. It helps student in overall grooming and thus students are industry-ready. Faculty and management are supportive to students and that is why the student is glorifying in every field i.e sports, extracurricular, tech fests, R&D, academics and above all placements. There is some strict attendance and one can bunk class.
