Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Admission will be on the basis of the qualifying exam and TNEA Counselling.
- The Candidate seeking admission in this course should have Completed 10+2 Level of Examination from a recognized board of education with minimum score of 50% for General Category, 45% for Backward Category and 40% for Reserved Category in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics aggregate marks.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission to M. E. program must have passed B. E./B. Tech in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Engineering Diploma holders of minimum three-year duration with minimum 50% marks are eligible to seek admission to 2nd year of the B.E/B.Tech programs under the Lateral Entry scheme.

A very nice atmosphere. The education, is no doubt at par. The bigger reason why you should join this institution is that the fact that the professors and faculty members are more concerned about your career than you really are. They advice you to push your limit every time and which eventually makes you a better student. There are a lot of technical and non technical events happening here and you can engage in as many activities as you like. The entire staff federation is very supportive and always there in need of help. You you are really interested to know the domain of engineering, this is your place

I visited this college for symposium. They even conduct workshops that are very useful. Career Compass is a program conducted in CIT which helps a lot of Engineering students to find their path after Graduation. 5/5

Well I would say that college is nice and has good infrastructure, have proper facilities, wifi, libraries and labs. there is canteen and college also promotes sports.faculties of this college are experienced one,and also the ambience of this college is amazing.

I’m a final year student pursuing electrical engineering in Chennai institute of technology. The three years in this college was a journey that I would cherish for my life time. Each year i had new experiences that changed me at each stages of life. The first year after schooling was very good here I was free to take part in many activites apart from my academics and mould myself to enter my department to become a professional engineer. Since my college timing is from 8 to 14.45 I had time to develop my skills based on my career . One such opportunity was the solar vehicle competition . We all have knowledge about many things which we gain from books, internet, and from others experiences some times. The same way I took courage to enter the competition only with my basic knowledge. There as a team we learnt a lot and participated in the competition and won two awards. Thats when i learnt team work never fails and also when we participate in these kinds of competition we can develop ou personality in all aspects. I like this college since its dynamic one and unique from other engineering college which help me shape myself and get through my career not only with academics but also with my skills

Best place to study beyond the Syllabus. 5/5
I’m a student of Chennai Institute of Technology.Studying B.E Computer Science 1st year.As a Tamil medium student I’m feared to join an Engineering college after completing +2.After visiting CIT chennai Campus I’m decided to join Engineering.my first semester G.P.A was 8.64. If you want study beyond the syllabus and to become a professional our college is the best one. Our chairman sir is very close to us and he is also not like to study academics only.He is the best inspiration for us to become an entrepreneur.one thing about our college is if you see our college as academic college its that.if you see as a Practical college it is a wonderful college.I’m getting scholarship from my college and many of my friends getting full fees scholarship. The Awesome thing in our college is ILP-innovative learning Program center.Here we were learning beyond the syllabus in high class level. I’m enjoying my college life here.
